is uploader a scam ?

files on uploader don't download even with a premium account..all you get is endless adverts . Anyone else had this problem. Looks like a scam site to me.

rapidshare works perfectly well even in the free mode

Speaking as a member, not a moderator here. The jury is still out on that one, but I belong to other groups that have had so many complaints from members that have purchsed a premium account and gotten nothing for their money, that posters are banned from using it.

In the end it's the poster's choice what they use. if I don't like the service they use I just don't download it. There are a lot of sites, including picture hosts, that give problems. You get used to the ones you agree with. There is more than enough variety used so I just pick the ones I know won't try & inundate me with endless pop-ups etc.

I agree uploading.com is a site to avoid. Rapidshare is by far the best

I am also a member on a few forums that forbid using it for the same reason & others. This is something we will have to seriously consider as well.
