Hey I am Andrew, does anyone here listen to K-Pop, or is a K-pop lover?

Hi Andrew and welcome to GH! :)
I would've go as far as calling myself a K-pop lover, but I certainly do listen to K-pop, as well as J-pop and C-pop. :) And I also see that you've seen Death Note. A really good anime, imo! :)

Forget about the K, the J and the C and add "Sicle" after Pop... that's the kind of pop I like :))

I'm not too familiar with it, but my Korean co-worker loves to blast it during work---Some of them are good but I can't say I'm a fan.

That's what I was wondering :D.

And how exactly does K-pop differ from J-pop?

Kpop comes from South Korea.
And about difference, for example: like Finnish and Swedish, Korean and Japanese are two completely different languages :)

Yeah, but how they differ MUSICALLY? There must be a difference since people don't call british pop B-pop (now that would be something...) and french pop F-pop. If it sounds the same but comes from a different country and they just sing in different language, it's a bit (well ok, not a bit, much) retarded, so to say. Not judging the music here though.

Well, now I have to let someone else with better knowledge answer to this. After all I'm just a beginner, my biggest love is metal music so...

I stan for Girls' Generation♥, T-ara, miss A, BoA, After School & their sub-unit Orange Caramel, Sistar, Gangkiz, RaNia, 4minute, IU♥, G.NA, HyunA♥ & Ailee♥. I don't do J-Pop but I kinda like Namie Amuro bc of the song she has with After School. Oh & stan for Queen Jolin Tsai who is taiwanese so I guess she does C/M-Pop? ♥

It's ok. From what I've heard, it pretty hit or miss for me. But I can call BoA and Girls Generations favorites.

Same here actually. Seems that there aren't a lot of people who are into metal in here.
