I have never tolerated kid's. it's not that i'm mean to them or anything like that... lol

It's just that i don't have any patience for that stuff. :worried:

Other people's kids disbehaving annoy me, but otherwise I love kids and sure i'd love one day (adoption ).

I used to think the same some years ago, I was damn scared when I was about to be a parent. Now that I am I laught at myself thinking how fool I was. I fill like I am blessed, they have changed my life, takeken my time, patience, money and even more but believe me they have given me much more than I could ever expect. My life is harder now but I am happier than before.
I whish you will be a parent, anyone should.

One of the saddest moments for me in the process of admitting to myself that I'm gay is having to accept the reality that in Ireland, I'm not going to be in a position to raise kids if I'm true to myself. I can either choose to live a lie, marry a woman and have kids, or I can choose to be myself and share my life with another man, but never have kids. It was a painful realisation, but there really is only one healthy course, honesty!

I'm in my early 30s now, so this would be when I should be settling down to raise a family, and it's not happening. It does make me sad. But, on the other hand, it does leave me freer to dedicate my life to my passions. So, if I can't leave a legacy in terms of off-spring, then I'm going to try leave one in the form of my contributions to society, and, perhaps, if people are very generous with the definition of the term, to art. It's not the same, but I still find it full filling to contribute something to the future.

I agree. I mean, as a gay man, I'm clearly not meant to reproduce so it's a good thing that I don't like kids either.

I don't like how they drool, I don't like how they smell, I don't like how they try to reach out and touch things and I'm VERY unhappy when they cry.

I'm not even fond of my own generation so, kids and I, yeah, we would get along not well.

When I was young I decided to have no kids. But people can change. I am old now and have three kids (own kids, no adoption), a girl and two boys, all grown up now. I love them so much that I would not hesitate for a moment to offer my life to save theirs.
