Kik Messenger?

Has anyone used Kik before? Someone online told me I should join but I'm not sure what it's really for. Is it just another Grindr/Scruff?

It's mostly used by teenagers for sex hook-ups, when they don't even wanna change their number. I wouldn't join. I think it's worse than Grindr.

It's not even in the same category as grindr. It's just a simple messenger app, no extensive profiles. You just pick a username and then you're able to text other users if you know their usernames. I wasn't even aware that it is considered a hook-up app (even though I use it mostly for that purpose).

And I had totally forgotten to call it social app So yeah, social app, which is most widely used as hook-up app. And for that purpose, in my opinnion, is worst than Grindr.

It's a texting app... like a chatroom app type thing. (I didn't even know it was used for hooking up!) I use it because it's free to text internationally that way

I have it on my phone but I have no contacts Mainly I use whatsapp which is another free International texter and also photos which is good as my service provider charge for photos even if they are in the UK.
