Everyone has heard of Citizen Kane, The Godfather, or Vertigo, they are part of the film canon and being taught in film history classes. I was wondering if there's something like a Porn Film Canon as well, legendary titles that were huge bestsellers or have changed the world of gay porn forever.
Y'know, stuff like Boys In The Sand, Joe Gage's L.A. Tool & Die, Cadinot's Les Minets Chauvages and Harem, Jeff Stryker's Bigger Than Life (or maybe Powertool), Bel Ami's An American In Prague, or even something like Dawson's 20 Load Weekend?
What are the classic films everyone who's interested in the history of gay pornography should know?

Sure Wakefield Poole's Boys in the Sand is of course the No. 1 classic among all the modern gay porn movies, and I think it should be noted that it was released in December 1971, ie six months BEFORE Deep Throat!
