Do you like women? Can you see yourself in a full time relationship with a woman or possibly wanting to have hot sex with a woman? If that's the case, well then you are probably bi, if you're only interested in guys, and not women, then you're NOT bisexual!

Hell! I got a thing for straight men (despite the fact I know I'd never be able to have any sexual relations with a straight man), that does not automatically mean I'm straight or bi? No!

Being straight, gay, or bi depends upon you and only you. And honestly.. don't worry too much about these labels, just enjoy what you enjoy

It all depends if you like women yourself.

uuff...what happens if you like EVERYTHING? SERIOUSLY! I was outwardly HETERO early (mostly because of where I live...HE-MAN LAND!) Then later I was happy being more GAY (but still liked pussy) - NOW I'M TOTALLY confused but would still go either way depending on what I was into at a particular moment...does this make me a bad person??

being confused and torn isn't a picnic either buddies....it actually really hurts because I don't know WHERE to turn....

Do you like the situation that he has a girlfriend, as in, you'd like to have sex with the guy or something in front of the girlfriend or with her somehow involved, or is the "masculine factor", like brandonizer said, they are more masculine? I'm just curious :D

I'm a woman who likes to see guys together, so I prefer dating bi guys and like seeing them have sex with other guys. Some gay guys tend to shy away from the situation, not because of the woman watching, but because it feels "straight", the same way as many straight men don't want to be in a situation where there's another man involved in anyway, because it feels "gay". (And of course for some it just doesn't do a thing to have a woman watching or anyone for that matter, but I just started to think about this because you mentioned guys with girlfriends ;))

Anyway, just wanted to say that even liking some girls doesn't change gay to bi, just makes them homoflexible maybe. At least in my opinion to be bi means a person looks at boys and girls both the same way, for sex and love, even if they'd have a preference :)

I disagree.. Bisexuality, like gay or straight is a sexuality in it's own right. It's not half and half, a state of confusion or a phase.

Hell, there are tons of guys who came out as gay or considered themselves straight most of their lives but ended up accepting themselves as bisexual so the theory that bi guys are actually closet gays/confused is wrong as there are many cases to prove against this school of thought.

That said, I've always had a thing for straight/bi guys. I think it has to do with their mannerism as well (I know it is a controversial remark, but str8 and bi guys tend to be more 'macho' but that's just me generalising things)

Hahaha, 777, I LOVE that! "Homoflexible" & "heteroflexible" definitely have a place in our vocabulary!

I always thought the best way to define sexuality is by who you think about when you jack off. Men, you're gay, women, you're str8, both, you're bi. Men & women having sex together, which one are you really thinking about, or both? Men having sex with goats, well...

I'm not gonna disagree with you as a generalization, as long as you grant that there is a multitude of exceptions to that on both sides.

That kind of generalization is what gets a lot of politicians into hot water, at least in the USA.

From my experience, guys who don't actively pursue sex with women, but are generally more "butch", are more likely to identify themselves as bisexual, although such label doesn't really fit their sexual activity.
Of course, there are many exceptions to this.

Very true ! Many on both sides don't get that ;)

What's to understand? I'm 100% gay, but why wouldn't someone be turned on by both men and women? What I've never understood is why it seems so odd to so many people.

No, it just means when you walk into a bar you have twice the possibilities that some of the rest of us have. :p

Seriously, it just means you're human. Sexuality is much more complex than I used to think it was. People are all over the scale, and often "grow into" their understanding of what they want. Even then, there's that one person of the other gender that catches your eye...

That reminds of the 2007 30 Rock TV episode where 20 year old coffee delivery boy Jamie catches the eye of one of the straight guys, who admits that he would be "gay for Jamie".

(I mean look at him... Who wouldn't?)

...Anyway, just wanted to say that even liking some girls doesn't change gay to bi, just makes them homoflexible maybe...

"Homoflexible." I'm stealing that! ;)

I think that makes you a bi-in-law. Step-bi? Bi, once removed?
