Long Distance Reationships?????????????????????????????????????? ??????

Long distance relationships can they work? Do they ever work out? Is it worth even doing a long distance relationship knowing that you won't ever meet? Its hard when you really like someone but distance gets in the way.

A relationship means that you share things. Normally it starts with physical attraction. The looks of a person are at first sight of more importance than his or hers mentally qualities. The internet offers the possibility to start with mentally attraction. You like a person because of his thoughts and feelings. This is a beautiful opportunity. I hate therefore the invention of the cam, because this machine introduces the “looks” limitations for internet relationships. And that is a real pity.
Long distance relationships can work, but be so wise to throw your cam into the bin.

There are lots of different kinds of relationships. I have friendships where we've never met, but I can't begin to imagine a partner relationship existing while "knowing that you won't ever meet". Maybe a "romantic" relationship, but I don't think a full relationship can exist without personal contact.

I don't think sex is an absolute requirement; eg, the two people could be physically unable to have sex. But I do think person-to-person contact is needed.

Yeah, it would be very foolish.

But why do you think you won't ever meet? If you both will really want to meet so you can. I have no idea why it would be impossible.
As I wrote in my last post "impossible is nothing". So maybe better question than "Can it work?" is "Does He worth it?" (This is q. for you both of course).

From personal experience, long distance can very much work. The most meaningful relationship of my life started out that way and was amazing. I'm not sure I could ever do it on the premise of never meeting, but I guess each to their own? I've known people to do it for long stints of time so I guess it can work.

But what it all boils down to is what works for you.

posting third time lucky: If you chat with someone who seems to be interesting just let it go on. But slow down await nothing forgo nothing. Chatting may be good way how to make friendship. And you know what sang Spice girls. "If you wanna be my lover You've got be my friend" ) Right now don't be too much eager, don't be a pessimist too. Be curious (about him), be open (to him), be realist. You will see. Maybe this converstion will be boring for you after week. Maybe you'll spend next holiday together. You never can tell.
