Just watched an episode of Voyager

This hits home hard for me :(

Star Trek: Voyager was our favorite series. The Original Series is of course the Grand Daddy of them all and it occupies a place at the head of any table discussion of all things Star Trek.

The episode you are referring to... is it 'Death Wish'? 'Q'uinn was trying to end his eternal life because of the loneliness. That was a sad but inspiring episode. I will have to put it on our list of Netflix things to watch soon.

So many great episodes: Distant Origin, Living Witness, 11:59, Messag In A Bottle... and on and on - We love 'Voyager'

Thank you yoyo for bringing up Voyager :)

Sometimes it can hit hard, but in loneliness, like in everything else, there is opportunity and positiveness. In loneliness one has time to think what one really want's, and plan how to make it happen. Loneliness doesn't end by sitting home, there's a world out there, full of bossibilities, hobbies groups, bublic gathering place etc.

And ofc in comparison to loving and caring relationships it may seem like a horrible fate, but it's not. It's freedom, and one has to use it, or it will go in vain. I don't compare my current situations to the ones I wanna be in. I just find out what I want, and start going towards it, compairing is just useless wallowing. And it's not what you have now, but what you do. That is the key to happiness.
