Luckyshare - hopeless

Is it only me or is Luckyshare just the worst service for free users?
Every time I go to download a file I just end up with a 10 Minute time-out. Even if I change IP address or wait another day I am unable to download anything.
Its so frustrationg because so many posters seem to use it.
I can only assume its got its name because you're lucky if you can download anything.

Seems you haven't realized yet that most uploaders use filehosts which pay uploaders for generated download traffic - making money being the prime motivation for uploading and sharing files in the first place.

It should really be obvious that a filehost paying out money to uploaders has a more urgent interest to generate income from premium accounts. Therefore these filehosts generally provide extremely poor conditions for free downloaders. After all, you are not supposed to download for free - you are supposed to spend money

In my experience the differences between the various filehosts of the "pay-out" type are not really too big. Slow speed, frequent download breakdowns and messages of the "All free slots are busy" type are all part of the game to make you buy an account.

For me, Luckyshare is about average - speed of around 50 kb/sec, breakdowns from time to time. Livefile is somewhat specific - you have to be very patient to get a download slot, but once you get one, the downloads are somewhat faster (100 kb) and usually more stable than from most other hosts. But that, again, may only be my personal experience.

Whenever I get something from luckyshare, it usually takes me a good two hours or so before it's completed but I can't really complain about it. Mine's doesn't stop but I can understand. Maybe it has to do with traffic?

I'd be happy to pay a subscription to a filehost if:
1. eveyone used the same host (i.e. like they used to with oron)
2. they accepted Paypal.
I'm quite happy to accept a slow download speed or a long wait between downloads, but with Luckyshare I can't download anything at all. In fact the site isn't even functional this morning.
I really appreciate that people post the files, and I am more than happy that they can get some payment from the file hosts, and I accept that I am a leech that doesn't deserve anything. But I just wanted to give my feedback as a user, and Luckyshare is, at the moment, particularly bad.

I wasn't talking about purchasing filehost traffic i was talking about supporting an adult site with purchasing a membership
