So I think this might have been talked bout somewhere on the post but since the other thread about the 1st time's has just come out I thought it would be interesting to hear about your 1st crush or the moment you realized you were gay or bi.

I was very naive always about the sex and didn't really think about that whole concept, it was until one summer when I was about 12 that I met this guy who I liked so much and I didnt know why. Then we started talking because of some common friends and I liked him even more then... long story short, i had a huge crush on him and I think he did too...but will never know for sure since neither clear the whole situation hehe.

So (for us in the Northern Hemisphere)...Brazil would be the Key West area of Florida or San Francisco, California when you compare them to North America? (areas in the US where homosexuality is mostly accepted) but aren't people in Brazil predominantly Catholic too? They've got the big Jesus statue there in one city there right?

I'm not making fun or anything - just genuinely curious...and it's fun to talk to someone from Peru!

Ok I know this post wasn't directed at me but I thought I'd reply anyway xD!

Even though Brazil is predominantly catholic, cities like Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro (Where the big Jesus statue is located lol) are so big and have so much diversity and a big gay community that it's just normal to see gays in the streets. Of course that prejudice is always gonna be there, even if it's in small religious groups but nothing like Fred Phelps' sick kids.
