Much like Brexit & Boaty McBoatface here in the UK we face another important vote - Doncaster Council are looking to name their new snowplough/gritters.



There were many suggestions put forward, sadly Melton John & Basil Salty did not get thorough to the final round...



The final result was a win for Gritsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Anti-Slip Machiney and I think another one has been named David Plowie :rofl::rofl::rofl:




They have done this before, the council currently has gritter vehicles named : Brad Grit, Gritney Spears, The Subzero Hero, Mr Plow and Usain Salt.:thumbs up::thumbs up:

Oh - a sander! I have most English-English translations down, but every once in a while I hear a new one.

They should paint it metallic and call it Glitter Gritter.
