need to get the subtitles in the movie

That depends on the player you are using. I use VLC as you don't need to worry about codecs. In this you can just drag and drop the subtitles into the player. Usually there would be some drop down menus and you should find something about subtitles there.

If you are using Windows Media Player, click on Help and type "subtitles" into the search box. It will give information about how to get sub-titles, if they are available.
Or you can use PowerDVD which is a player available for free download on the internet. Selection of subtitles should come up automatically on the introductory menu.

Do you have Windows Media Player 11 (which is the most recent)? If not, go to the Microsoft website and download it.
Can you see Help on the menu bar at the top of the screen? If you can't see it right click on the black bar at the top and you will see a small menu including Help. Select it then follow my instructions in post #3 above.
