Of course it is. ;) It's not full list. Boys from dark green and red counties on this picture from Wikipedia are welcome:

Red countries are the heart of Europe, dark green is official CE.

Lucas. ;)

Maybe you could say that boys from those countries are welcome ^^

btw, some of those countries are not completly marked in green, so people from Lorraine are welcome, but not from the Champagne?

*giggles*

interesting definition of Central Europe... you should read this about the geographical midpoint of Europe and then let us talk about Central Europe again. :p

Why are we trying to set up groups that exclude some of us? It's bad enough that we are sometimes excluded from normal society without us then excluding each other by setting up exclusive little groups. I think this is a bad idea. This is, after all, an international forum and as such has all the benefits and drawbacks of multiculturalism.

Start setting up spilinter groups and dear knows where it'll end...'This group's ONLY for catholic formerly uncircumcised Jewish guys with one testicle who are under 5ft with hairy backs and who live in the suburb of Wimbledon, south London and who voted for the GREEN party in the last General Election!'

Good grief!

Having in mind friopaiu is a newcomer I'm sure he wouldn't set up the group to exclude anyone. I don't doubt in his good intentions.

I mean I'm sure he wasn't looking it from a negative perspective (to exclude anyone) but from a positive perspective actually - to include or connect people from a specific area. He could set up the group of fat people, or a group of small dicks guys (now that would be excluding for some of us too - if we look it that way).

I don't see anything bad in that. Now the reasons could be several, maybe he's looking for a real life boyfriend ;) or whatever. I believe we're open minded enough to welcome or at least tolerate all kinds of people ideas, although we don't always agree with them.

Dear Snome...

Dear Snome.

First thing which exclude you from normal society is to affirm that you are excluded from normal society. Gay community isn't uniform and having an image of one power minority is far off. We maybe have the same preferences in sexual part of our being, but we are all different personalities. Is necesary to figure out that there is no normal society. With this particular knowledge, fight for equality of homosexuals will be much easier.

My group is no anti-multiculturalism or anti-gaypride instrument. On the whole forum, you can enjoy, for you obviously so needed, feeling of multicultural freedom. I, as a newcomer, just feel, that it would be great to have group with friends from my region to discuss with them our local topics. Because you probabably don't care about weather in my country, don't you? Multiculturalism is good thing, without discussion. But like a part of globalization it also brings some negatives in form of defocusing our personal knowledge about our proximate entourage. So you can read my group as a push for sharping of this personal knowledge.

Lucas.

P.S.: Weather is nice here today!

I'm pleased for you. Weather here is good too.

Please understand, on this occasion I said what I said simply to generate a conversation - stir up the juices - get people thinking and talking - in my country it's called 'playing the devil's advocate'. I'm sorry that it seems to have simply annoyed some people, including you. That was not my intention. I suppose I could've been more gentle but I guess wanted to see how strongly people felt about groups like the one you're setting up. Unfortunately not many responded so it didn't work.

I wish your group all the best and in truth I don't really oppose you setting it up. Have fun.

SNOME.

My Central European boyfriend from Belarus is very offended he's not considered from Central Europe. He's standing behind me swearing at my computer screen.

I am very sorry for him. Tell him that he can create new group for boys from Eastern Europe, when he's from Eastern Europe... ;)

Truth is, there is no oficial Central Europe - according to Standard Country and Area Codes Classifications (M49) by United Nations Organization there is just Eastern Europe. So, if your BF wants, we take him! :D

People from Belarus consider their country to be in the very center of Europe. In fact, the city of Polotsk in Belarus has signs all over the place about it being the geographical center of Europe.

We have the same place in Czech republic and that same is in Slovakia. :-D Who knows where it really is... For us, Belarus is former SSSR, so we consider it as a part of Eastern Europe. As i said before, I take it politically.
