I just logged in and ALL posts are showing as already viewed. Generally I only want to look at new stuff.... Opening a post once to find it uses the crappy host ORON is bad enough but as I cannot tell which ones I've viewed it seems like now I might end up opening them several times~X(~X(

It's even worse than I first realised - not only do we have to go searching in every forum to see what threads have last posted dates later than the last time we think we were there, we then have to repeat that inside each thread. I ALWAYS used the little arrow to jump me to the exact place I'd left off in each thread - now I have to search for threads AND I have to search within threads.
This is not a solution to the site's problems - now we have two problems, the site is still quite slow, and it's also un-usable :angry:

Since the settings have been put back to normal, this thread is a tad redundant now.
Always good to experiment and see how it goes, in this case, the experiment didn't go so well.
