Glee star Cory Monteith was found dead at Vancouver's Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel Saturday, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. He was 31.

i've never liked him in Glee (or Glee it's self show....) but it's sad to heard these news.

I was a bit shocked when I read the news... I remember him from Kyle XY and Supernatural, all the way to Glee... Very sad...

He was very open about his serious addiction problems so I guess this should not come as a big surprise but still....31 years old is far too young to die.

As I suspected, his death was caused by heroin and alcohol. So many friends had commented that after his last stint in rehab he was doing so well, he was happy and healthy. What many don't realize is that's the most dangerous time for addicts. When they think to themselves "I've finally got this beat. As long as I do it just this once... What harm could it do?"
