I have many rar files that need a password to open but i dont know what the passwords are, is there a way to open them with out the passwords?

I think Rar is pretty secure, just brute-force hacking doesn't work. I wrote a script (on Linux) which tries all the passwords that I collect in a simple file, but I still have some files on my hard drive that I can't extract because I haven't written down the password. There are password lists available on the internet that you can try if the files come from an unknown source.
Jdownloader also allows to store several passwords which are automatically tried upon extract.

no there not from here they r from a hot looking Amateur/homemade site where the girls and the boys are hot the way porn should be.

In many years of posting I never used a password to open a shared file of mine.
Not a cool thing to include with a shared item at all.

Without the password your done.
Sometimes I've forgot to collect the thing and later when opening a file I'm cooked.
Every time I see passwords being used I believe the member is underage
and doesn't belong here.
Just my $.02, thanks for letting me vent.

^ The main reason for using passwords is to make it YET harder for files to be correctly identified by people who might have... shall we say more rightful claims on the content, and therefore removed from the site they're hosted on.
It's just a way of keeping files up a LOT longer.
