Opening rar files

I get so upset when I got open rar files it takes forever to opened up

I tried many programs and none seem to help so is there any tips.

winrar is still one of the fastest i think, at least for windows pc's, no idea if there are better ones for mac os,

it also depends from your CPU and how strong files rar zipped (compression method)
which goes from "store" (fastest) to "best" (slowest)

i think the main problem is the CPU if i compare this with my desktop PC with an Intel i7 and my older VAIO notebook there is a huge difference

meanwhile every zipper has this shell extension, 7zip is also a good one but thats not the point, speed matters and that's mainly based on the used hardware.
