Personal question: kissing

I've only been with one guy - my best mate. The first time we were together I tried to kiss him but he asked me not to. Kissing was for relationships, he said.
I accepted that. Second time we were together I didn't try to kiss him.
Last night he tells me that he went out to the clubs and pashed a couple of guys.
I told him "good for you" but I feel kind of flat / angry.

Any thoughts? Cos I feel confused at the moment, and I don't know why. Also: I need alcohol...

Were you two sober at the time when you were trying to kiss him? Or drunk? Perhaps he was drunk at the club and it would have influenced his decision

I've heard people say that before about kissing.

Kissing is affection, and even though it might only be a brief encounter at that moment you do have a sort of affection. Sex without kissing is like strawberries without the cream!

I tend to think you kiss differently if you have genuine affection , longer and deeper, but there is nothing wrong with kissing someone.

I think Bloop may be right and alcohol had something to do with it - or he may have just been too shy or embarrassed to do it with you for some reason.

I'd have challenged him on it, but then again depends on the kind of relationship you have. If it's totally loose and is just a "friends with benefits" thing then really you just have to accept it.

Well we weren't drunk when we together but he might he have been when he pashed the other guys at the club. That may explain it. I still feel lousy tho.

IDK..about this one..because you can look at this in a few different perspectives...as a bartender, I've always noticed that a drunken person conveys their true feelings whereas they may not have the courage doing while sober..I guess what I'm trying to say is ..is it possible he has a issue with YOU..because for example, personally, if you had made the attempt to kiss me and I turned you down, there is no way I would have told you about being in a situation with two guys from the bar..unless he was trying to get under your skin..by playing a mind game with you just to see your reaction..you know what I mean??...guys are always trying to pacify their actions for being drunk..which is a weak excuse...to me personally..think about it...
