Photo Conversion to Jpeg

Hello everyone!

So I have a technical question that I haven't been able to figure out on my own yet. Recently I've been looking around on Flickr and have found some really good photos that I'd like to share, however, sometimes it is hard to change the format of the picture from what it is in Flickr to a Jpeg that I can then upload to Pimp&Host and then use the BB Code to post it here.

We are not supposed to use the BB Code that Flickr gives since it will hotlink the picture right back to Flickr. I've found that I can first post them to my Pinterest board which will convert them to the Jpeg. Which leaves me with one option I haven't been able to figure out yet.

When all the share options have been blocked, the photo is unable to be downloaded, the only option is the Short URL. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a site where I can post the Short URL and by posting to that site it will be converted to Jpeg. I already know that Facebook, Tumblr, and Pinterest are not options. If you know of any, please let me know.

Well, I haven't been able to figure this out yet today after testing a few more websites, but I did figure out how to download Flickr pictures that are supposed to be blocked. That one wasn't so hard.

It may seem like overkill to use Gimp for a simple job like this, and it is. But once you get into the habit it becomes easy enough and faster than uploading somewhere and downloading back again. The real beauty is that you always remain in control, it is your choice of compression level, resolution, aspect ratio, everything. Gimp will not add unwanted tags or tracers, not all file converter sites can be so trusted. Then with a bit more knowlege you can do fun things like remove watermarks and make dicks bigger, or smaller. Anything Photoshop can do but for no money.
