pimpandhost problem

this is example of BB forums code for a singel image
i have pic showing ok on pimphost and i choose "original" for size rather than thumbnail small or medium options i highlight by left click ( copy ) and then simply paste into the "manage attachment" section on normal message upload screen but get error saying invalid file, but as you may see what i have now done is simply paste code directly into main message body and is shows up for this post, im confused as to why i can't "upload" through "manage attachments"

Hi John Doe.. The way you have done it, by copy/pasting the code into the post is the easiest way to do it, don't bother with the attachments method .... See here for a tutorial:

I'm still not understanding the posting a picture.
I thought you were suppose to click the globe with the paper clip, and copy the BB code there for the picture. When I do it, it works OK, but if you click the picture you get a blank page because it has the before and after the address.

If I just copy the link rather than insert url or image, can you see the picture, or am I the only one who can?

The only time you need the img code part is if you have the direct link to the picture only. The BB codes are designed to by fully postable as is. Hope this clears up your confusion.

To insert a pic: - Click on the blue HTLM and then copy the whole text code in the BB (forums) full image code window into the post... all you will see is the text/code but when you "submit reply" the pic will be visible.
