It happens so few times in the videos that I watch that it doesn't bother me one way or the other. Nick and I have done it to each other a few times, its kinda hot at times.

Since it's not something most people would take for an expression of affection or desire with their clothes on, I don't believe doing it in the middle of sex turns it into that.

I totally hate it. It's both disgusting and degrading.
Spits get exchanged during kissing and it's sometimes used for lubrication. That's the extent of my liking for saliva.

Would I mind someone spitting in my mouth? I don't know. I could tell you how I feel about it, right after we have Connor McGuire spit in my mouth. -I think I'd either like it, or fight like hell to learn to like it.
On the other hand, I would be irritated if someone were to spit on their dick for lube. My reaction would be, "Dude, you can do a lot better than that. Buy some lube."

One word can sum up my view on this... vile!...street, sex, face, mouth, lube... vile!
A poll in a pirate site is hardly indicative of what the real audience wants to see, i.e. people who actually pay to view the porn.

If 85% detest it even though they didn't pay anything for it, it doesn't follow that the paying public would like it. That's a non sequitur. It does follow that most payers probably wouldn't like it either---perhaps not 85%, but most---and no one is inclined to pay for something they don't like.
Of course, the sample size in this case is ridiculously tiny, so that limitation skews all conclusions and pretty much makes them fubar. I accidentally limited the poll to 2 weeks because the instructions weren't all that clear. Sorry.
It might be helpful to remember that porn is usually purchased sight unseen, and when you look up "bait and switch" in the dic you'll likely see porn as a prime example.
