I just know the one time I tried Poppers, the bottle spilled. Never, ever attempted use again. The 'high' was short-lived anyhow. If you watch porn-stars on video, they're taking really LONG hits of this stuff, not short sniffs. And several hits at that.

I've always heard of damage to the brain from overuse of Amyl Nitrate, let's be honest, what drug doesn't harm you in some fashion or another. If you choose to try this, see how it affects you, and your body, then make the decision to continue. As for me, once was enough to make my decision.

its heightens the senses but also deadens sensations to pain--relaxing you to do more than you would if weren't on it--a friend of mine tried fisting few times said no way and one guy talked him into poppers and part of it he really didn't remember --when I see poppers in a porn real or amatuer I quit watching it--I figure if its too painful for me to do then its a sign don't wanna do it

also certain poppers can raise heart rate up or lower it cause/trigger a heart attack or stroke--common sense says anything you put in body that changes how the mind senses things cant be good for you to use

Most people can accept that they are safer, about a hundred times safer, sitting on an aeroplane than driving their own car. Yet they still feel more nervous on the plane than in the car. There is this huge gap between public perception of risk and proven actuality of risk.
Using poppers to enhance sex looks dangerous, sounds dangerous, feels dangerous, even smells dangerous. Common sense tells you it must be dangerous then. Common sense is wrong. Statistically it is safer than taking a bath, safer than walking down stairs, safer than staying in bed. People die every day doing those things. There are no stats on death caused by poppers during sex, the stats don't exist because it is something that never happens. If it did you would hear about it. Wouldn't The Sun, Bild, or any other trashy newspaper just love to print stories about sordid popper deaths? Sadly for them (happily for us) they can't because it never happens.

I agree with Dargelos. Poppers are generally quite safe and fun. I recommend being cautious if you use dick drugs like Viagra or Cialis. the warning labels say not to use nitrates or nitrites when using those drugs, but I'll admit to violating those restrictions on occasion but be very cautious when doing so.

Poppers do lower pain thresholds, loosen sphincters and make the user want to FUCK shortly after ingesting them. The high is fairly short, say a minute or two. I think some of the reasons that poppers are disapproved of is that they increase the likelihood that: one you'll engage in sex and many prudes just don't approve; two, that you'll agree to unsafe sex due to the lowering of inhibitions; three, straight people don't use them (generally speaking) and are very much identified with the gay community and so they're "taboo". I am not saying that everyone should use poppers. But there's no harm in trying them if you're curious.

on a site called talktofrank on poppers cant post link don't know how...Physical health risks
Swallowing poppers can be fatal.
Sniffing poppers is potentially dangerous for anyone with heart problems, anaemia or glaucoma (an eye disease).
Sniffing poppers can make your blood pressure drop. You shouldn’t take them if you have problems with your blood pressure, are on any blood pressure medication, or if you're taking erectile dysfunction medication such as Viagra.
Fatal ‘sudden sniffing death syndrome’ has been reported due to development of an abnormal heart rhythm when taking poppers.
Users can also die from injury to red blood cells and reduced oxygen supply to vital organs, but this is very rare.
Poppers may lead to you losing consciousness and choking on your vomit. Using poppers with alcohol can increase this risk.
If you use poppers while you’re having sex, be aware that you may feel less inhibited and take risks – such as not using a condom. Because of this, poppers have been linked to people catching sexually transmitted diseases and injuring themselves during sex.
Poppers are highly flammable and can cause chemical burns on the skin, leading to rashes around the nose and mouth.
Poppers can cause nausea, headache, and disorientation.
In recent years, there have been reports of people experiencing temporary and permanent loss of vision after using poppers. If you are experience problems with your eyesight after using poppers we strongly advise you get medical advice.

on one site it states people that died from poppers were around600 people in 2010 as of number today has more than tripled but where poppers have certain chemicals they are calling them meth related deaths or other drugs because the bottle the poppers were in was gone

so take poppers if want just if you die from it or become brain dead over its use-- don't blame no one else but yourself and then realize that youre just a number now not a person on the list of people that die from it

just google it people I know ive turned down several sexy hot younger guys because they use it--I wont be held responsible if they become part of that statistic

Talk To Frank is a UK government anti-drugs site. It exists to scare people off taking everything or anything so it is hardly going to give a fair and balanced report.
The possible dangers it lists are true, yes indeed, but I could make a similar list about almost any product found in your home. Drink paint, bleach or antifreeze and you will die. Paracetamol headache pills kill hundreds of people every year. These things are safe when used sensibly, not safe when used carelessly. Like cars, matches, knives or anything else.
For about 100 years amyl nitrite was the go-to treatment used by doctors for angina patients, during this time it had an outstanding safety record, the only reason it is now rarely used medically is that there are more modern treatments available. It is impossible to know just how many lives this chemical has saved, over a century the total must have got into the millions.
