premium hotfile, should it be quicker??

To add, I have premium rapidhsare and that works about 50 times fater, literally. I only upgrded to hotfile for 24 hours, thank heavens, what a rip off. i upgradedd thinking I could now see all the great videos posted by members.

peachair, unfortunately you have the same problems like many guys who bought HF. The speed is terribly slow. lds17pl is right. I have the same problems with depositfiles. Can't download anything from that host.
However I'm probably the fortunate one that HF works very well for me, I bought it last week. I have the same good speed as at Rapidshare.
I don't know it has obviously to do something with your geo location or with the case lds17pl described.

I've had a premium HF for 6 months and never a problem. I must be one of the
fortunate ones. Would it possibly have anything to do with the regions we're in?

Well I upgraded. It's not as fast as RS but that could be to do with the time & day I've used it. The lack of speed (certainly faster than 3 hours for 100mb) is made up for by the cost which is very reasonable really, and at the moment they're giving an extra month if you buy 6 months!

With HF Premium I average about 20 mgs a min (about 5 min for 100 mgs) wirelessly, the real advantage is being able to download multiple files at the same time (at about the same rates), without waiting to start DL, You might want to run an internet speed test to see if it's your providor, I don't think I'm allowed to post a hotlink, so google "test internet speed" to get a free test. I left my old ISP, because they were limiting download amounts and speed. Your providors help center may be able to assist you (you don't have to tell them you're downloading porn, just that you download rates are really dragging).
