some portals report that Prince was medicated to fight effects of an overdose in a hospital some days ago his privat jet had to do an emergency landing cuz he had health poblems. He should have stayed 24h but left the clinic after 3h...​

Bruce Springsteen opened his concert in New York last night with Prince's Purple Rain.

Meanwhile, alone at Rockefeller Center in Studio 8H Jimmy Fallon went on the air sans audience to host a Saturday Night Live tribute Goodnight Sweet Prince with clips of the Artist's many appearances on the NBC show. The highlight was this never before seen impromptu jam at the after party following last year's SNL 40th Aniversery broadcast. This video is coutesy Tim Kazurinsky's iPhone.

To set the scene - this is about 4am. Jimmy Fallon had coaxed many stars onstage including Paul McCartney, Chris Rock and Taylor Swift. After hearing a rumor that Prince was in the room, Fallon dared him to join the band on stage. As Jimmy tells it, the crowd parted and the Purple One ascended and took up a guitar to howl out a version of Let's Go.

Not to antagonize any fans but it seems there is a greater (and more palpable) outpouring and tribute for Prince (and Bowie) than when Michael Jackson or Whitney Houston died.

That being said, regardless, all of these artists/legends will be sorely missed.​

Remember that by the time he passed, Jackson was a deeply controvercial figure for his unhealthy relationship with children.

Whitney was a great artist, but frankly, just not of the same order of greatness as Bowie or Prince.

I think one of the big differences between Prince and Michael (and even Whitney to some extant) was that Prince was always doing something. When Michael passed he hadn't done anything in quite sometime and was getting ready for his big tour. With Whitney she was in the remake of Sparkle, but not much of anything else. Prince was always out and about performing and making appearances. Of the three, he was very consistent. Which makes his death and the end of that consistency much more shocking than that of Michael and Whitney, in my opinion.

and I was in disbelief when Michael and whitney passed too.
