problem with rar files.

Help how could i fix .rar files?, so i was extracting them then it appears it is corrupted. and also if you know how to fix wmv video file that stops from playing in the certain part of the video but the runtime is still going please share how to fix it,one of my video in my external hardrive became like that, i dont know why it turns out like that??.

Cannot help with the .rar file but have you tried another video player - I sometimes find a clip will not play on one - say Windows media Player - but plays fine on the RealPlayer, VLC or KMPlayer

What are you using to extract the RARs with? And are you using a PC or a Mac?

Corrupt RARs are usually caused by one of four things:
1) the download stopped prematurely, so the fire really is corrupted, and nothing but a re-download could ever work
2) your are using software that is too old for the RAR version the file was compressed with
3) the RAR is password protected, but your software cannot deal with password protected RARs
4) the RAR is encrypted and you are entering the wrong password but the software is not recognising that fact, and giving you the wrong error message
