got the complete series on DVD yesterday and having a "homothon" lol. A lotta gay a lotta sex a lotta drama should have been the show's tagline! LOL. I missed a lot of the shows due to not knowing when they were on but now I'm like WHAT THEY DID THAT?!?!?! lol

Oh and there is a British and an American version of QAF. I saw the British version - and is working my way through the American. So far I like the British version most - but the American version ran more seasons I think and had more episodes in each season.


And to do a double whammy - in the thread you started about songs that makes me cry:

I have seen bits and pieces of the British version but I guess you can also call the US version Canadian-American since it was shot in bits and pieces in both Canada and US lol

I think besides Will and Grace that this is a good depicting of gays since its not all just about the stereotypes and also goes into the darker side of some stuff lol.

Will and Grace however funny it is - stereotype gays badly!!! The characters in QAF are more real and have so many more facets.

The US version follows the UK version almost to the letter at first , then goes onwards and basically becomes a soap. I enjoyed it, although only seen a couple of the seasons, but after a bit of trepidation as to a remake I loved it better than our version.

Not so sure about realism, but it was good TV

For what it worth - The sex scenes in the British version was better IMO.
