Rapidgator download limits

The other day for the first time ever I "reached my download limit" with Rapidgator. A pop-up and a review of my account showed I have a 15GB daily download limit.

I enquired and was informed by their customer service that I do indeed have a 15GB daily download limit. They provided me with a link to their terms of service and not surprisingly there was nothing in their terms of service about 15GB.

Clearly on their premium package section it states 1TB monthly which would yield a little over 30GB daily. You can't see these packages if you are logged into your premium account.

That day I exceeded was a rare download day and I don't download near that much on a daily basis I just don't like being lied to with pitch and switch tactics.

Can you review your account and let me know of your limits. For the last 9 months I have been doing the 3 month package.

I have a 15 g daily as well on a premium account.

It never really mattered until recently. The new trend is HUGE files, even for single scenes. I'm assuming people are watching them on bid screen hd monitors?

It certainly uses up my Rapidgator allotment. I get shut off once a month or so.

UPDATE: When I went back to them a second time about the inconsistencies I wasn't getting a response. I told them if I didn't get a response by the time it was time to renew I would be cancelling. They got back to me and I now have a 1TB limit. As for the large files Tonka I know what you mean. There is one user in Pic Sets that has sets over 1GB I can't believe and set of 100 or so pics is over 1GB. So many vids in HD are using enormous amounts of space. Just remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease so get with Rapidgator and get your bandwidth.

Since quite a while some sets from the B0YFUN site does actually have these file size. (3000pixel)

Occasionally some are way bigger than 1GB

Mabe to watch it on a screen in a football stadium... :thinking:

That's the magical new world of high definition. 6 years ago an episode of a TV show was 350 mb. If you watch now with the new standard resoultion of 1920p all you see are fractals. You need at least 720p to be able to enjoy anything now. If it's not in mkv format, it's substantially bigger in size.

Yes, there are sets of a size like that and I like that. Depends on the model of course. I don't need a GIG from Jamoo's example boy here (no pun intentended) but from other guys I enjoy the large sets. Those are "to zoom in".
However, with BF there is always the option to choose a lower resolution.

I value quality, not only behind the camera but also in processing.

A jpg-file is a lossy format and has different quality options. Many companies only offer small pictures and even lower the quality to 75% or less. There is the one with the two white naughty dogs, who has done that. A set is 14 mb now but they are all for the trashbin. It looks like a blurry mess. You cannot even enhance them with photo-programs because they lack the minimum quality required for an enhancement of any kind.

1 terrabyte limit shame

I have been a Rapidgator premium member for over 2 years and had lousy customer service and poor download speeds most of the time. I tolerated it because many of the people here who post use them. In all the time i was with them I never reached 1T downloads in a month. The last three months I was with Rapidgator though I suddenly started to have notices that I had reached 1T and was cut off for the rest of the month unless I purchased additional bandwith. I protested that I had not come close to using a terabyte and that they were wrong. They did that for three months and I quit them. I stopped my recurring memberships subscriptions and left them for good. I will never use them again:no:
