Rapidgator download problem

Hello,

Since last Friday I have not been able to download at all from rapidgator (free mode). After the countdown reaches zero, nothing happens. I don't get a captcha -- it just goes back to the same page. In jdownloader too, after the countdown, I get a red cross with the message 'An Error occured (rapidgator.net)' What's happened -- have I been blocked by rapidgator from downloading from their site? Has this happened to anybody else -- or am I the only one? Any help in solving this problem would be appreciated.

The last time I tried a d/load (a couple of days ago) it worked but I did notice they have changed the system. I was not asked for a captcha - just to tick a box to say I wasn't a robot. I expected to be asked to clip on all photos containing a car, or tree, or roadsign or whatever but didn't even get that.:thinking:

I have encountered this error several times in the past; on the last occasion, however, I tried the URL in a different browser (Firefox - my usual is a Chrome clone) and successfully downloaded the file.

Maybe the link has the unwanted ?referrer=http...…. bit that needs deleting first

Thanks for your suggestion, slimjim, that seems to have worked downloading from the actual page. However, still getting an error in jdownloader, sigh.

Thanks -- I tried that, but it's not working in other browsers, either.

I have a premium account and I keep getting a 500 Internal Server Error. I tried emailing rapidgator without much help.
