But it's been working for me. I don't understand. Would it be my ISP or something?

"it isn't working" is not enough information for anyone to be able to help you at all.

What is happening when you follow a rapid gator link? Is there an error message?

B.

P.S.
If you feel like annoying the IT guy in work, the single best way to do that is to ask for help and give no more information what so ever other than "it doesn't work"

well my browser says "oops google chrome could not connect to rapidgator.net". And i cant call my ISP cause i dont have an account with them. so that means i cant speak to someone there to see if the problem is them or me. Am i clear? :)

That error message suggests a DNS problem, which COULD imply ISP or Government blocking. But, lets not jump the gun.

What output do you get when you enter the follow command into a command prompt (if you don't know how to get a command prompt this will help: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/commandlinereference/f/open-command-prompt.htm):

Code:
nslookup rapidgator.net

Your output should look something similar to (but not identical to):

Code:
Server: 192.168.10.1
Address:	192.168.10.1#53

Non-authoritative answer:
Name:	rapidgator.net
Address: 195.211.221.116

My guess is it won't, in which case we know for sure it's a DNS problem. (if it is there are a few things we can try to fix the problem)

I found out that's it's my internet provider actually blocking. But thank you guys so much for trying to help me.

Depending on how clever they are, and they are an ISP, so the chances are high they are not, you can probably route around their censorship.

Firstly, you can try if this gets you an IP address for rapidgator:

Code:
nslookup --dns-ip=8.8.8.8 rapidgator.net

That command tries to access Google's DNS server, if it responds with a result then you know your ISP is not blocking Google's DNS, so you can simply re-configure your computer to use Google's DNS servers, and the censorship becomes a thing of the past.

it says "Non-authoritative answer: Name: rapidgator.net" but i found a website that unblocks it. so i just use that then.

Non-authoritative answer means success actually - domain not found means failure, so using Google's DNS servers would get you out of your problems, and, is safe.

I'm not sure it's wise to trust a random website unless you understand exactly what it does, and how it does what it does.
