Resizing photos

I would like to know if anyone here on the forum knows how to resize photos that I may want to upload. If so, could you please leave instructions for me on how to go about this??....Thanks so much in advance...JW :cheers:

I use the program "Paint".

Obviously I use the program with my language, but I marked the spot with the action to use. (see photo)

what kind of pictures do you mean? Preview-pictures?
Or picture sets you want to share?

Do you want to make them smaller in kb size or do you want to make them larger/smaller in size by pixels/centimetre?

jw4833 If you want to reduce or enlarge images to post on the net then I can recommend Upload House (you must create an account) a simple program.
I always use "640x480 for message boards" which is a format with good result.
Click the "Resize Images" button.
Know that "GIF" images never can be edited
Below a copy of the program.

First of all ...let me thank you for responding to my post...but I was referring to posting a personal picture that I wanted to send someone in my private mail and I wanted to size it larger than the size thats in my folder...thanks again

Thanks so much for your response..but I wanted to enlarge a personal photo of mine and I have Nero PhotoEssentials and it has a resize area where you can resize a photo but I did not know what size measurements I needed to use because I was sending it in my private mail area and I did not want it to be too large...thanks again

save it as a jpg and it should not be too large for an email.
You can also set the quality of the jpg down to 80% if it's still too large (via options in the "save as" window I guess).
