I think this one was meant to be a reply to the "what was the temperature..." thread... :thinking:
I'm Italian and I've been there only once, years ago, on a school trip... It was a great trip, but the weather was awful! Mid-March, it rained so much that you were soaked to the bones in a quarter of hour at most, and while we were visiting the Colosseum, what happened?? A HAILSTORM!! :angry:
Still, considering that two thirds of our class were boys, in the hotel rooms there was a really nice panorama...
Oh, I almost forgot! We were visiting St. Peter on the 19th of March (St. Joseph's Day), the teacher was explaining some architectural features, and this staffer comes there and tells us to stop because of "orders from above!" :rofl:

Damn, the only reason I'm still in Italy is university, once my studies are over I'm doing my best to get away from it...
And no worries, the bad weather was there just for our trip, half of the trips we made the weather was bad... Once we were in Vienna for a whole week and there was snow falling every single day: it was the end of March and we were clothed like it was December! :rofl:
