If it is a big party, I hang out on the back deck because that seems to be where the best conversations are (not to mention about twenty feet away the best fights) ...

Small groups are usually the best though. If you are going to get drunk, better than fewer people see it

The best parties are in the corn fields just off the porch of a farm house ... only the sheriff occasionally drives by, and half the time it is to split a keg.

I LOVE BIG PARTIES!!!!!! but is isn't this slightly contradicting? Because even small parties has its smaller categories of cliques? .... Or you mean just small gathering all together.. I like big parties! but they just can't be hosted in my house cuz i don't want to do the clean up =P

I like both, it really just depends on the situation. Large parties are fun because you can mingle and talk to a bunch of different people and smaller parties can also be fun because you typically know more people at smaller gatherings.

Whatever it is, a party is a party! Alcohol, friends, drunken chit chats nothing can be better than that!

I was at a 1000+ party once and it was HORRIBLE. Especially after I lost sight of the two friends I went with.

Yeah, it's a yearly pre-Xmas-university party. So there was more than enough room but I just wandered around aimlessly and hated it.

Prefer smaller intimate groups, but depends what you call big. 50 would be OK, but 1000!! I'd end up with a small group putting the world to rights while we get drunk
