yeah, a hello or a thank you from a guy i like would make me heart skip a beat.
but if my crush were to say "i love you" to me, even just as a joke, i'm pretty confident that i would get a heart attack from it =))

I think it's really rude and inconsiderate when you go out your way to hold a door open for someone or pick up an object that someone may have dropped and yet they do not say thanks or thank you for your efforts to assist them.

I agree. A simple thank you goes a long way. Once I was even yelled at for holding a door because the guy thought he could do it himself. Let's just say that next time I saw him, I slammed the door in his face. Rude? Yes. But it felt so good! :devil:

not rude dude, just payback. not enough payback in this world, which is why some guys behave like assholes. all this being nice just to get along is shit, since it does away with the need for some guys to have manners and use them. its okay to be nice up front, but if a dude doesnt even say thankyou in some way, then he doesnt deserve any more nice.

former b/r whose parents came from Sicily, told me their old saying, that revenge is a dish best enjoyed when cold. in other words, just wait for life to catch up with the asshole who screwed you, and maybe help things along a bit, and all by themselves they will get fucked over. doing bad stuff brings consequences and all kinds of shit down on someones head, and when their victims see it, that is revenge for me.
