George Takei tries to settle Star Wars/Trek dispute, throws shade at Twilight

So if you haven't heard, William Shatner said some shit about Star Wars and my baby momma Carrie Fisher said something back in an interview. Shatner posted another vid and implied Carrie needs a tit lift.

Flawless human being George Takei has made this video to end the feud, suggesting Star fans of all kinds band together against the menace that is TWILIGHT:

Star Trek any day for me. Never liked Star Wars at all, but the two are completely different anyway and can't really be compared as like for like.

The only series that came close to Star Trek for me, and actually bettered it for a short while, was Babylon 5.

The only series that came close to Star Trek for me, and actually bettered it for a short while, was Babylon 5.

I like Star Wars but I prefer Star Trek, especially The Next Generation, after all I grew up watching the series (and when the movies with The Next Generation came, me and my sister went to watch them all, being more or less the only women there ).

And xman101, I agree. Babylon 5 is something that can be compared with Star Trek.

Funny that, I think I agree with you. A lot of 60s series seem less dated. The series has been digitally enhanced in latest showings I've seen , not sure I approve of doing that but they look ok.

I dont understand with Star Trek vs Star Wars. It's silly to argue which is the best. Both have different plots and characters, even media. But then again its human nature to compare things. I say it's childish! And silly!
