Hey everyone, so since i could'nt find a list of disadvantages about the title of this thread, i wanna ask you what are some things that can happen just by staying everyday indoors rather than going out and about. :) you can list the too if you'd like.

Staying indoors for long periods will make you ghastly and etiolated.

Besides, if nature intended us to stay indoors, we would have evolved with built-in roof over our backs, just like turtles, beings that look like Mitch McConnell, totally bereft of sex appeal.

I would ask why?
As a first thought, maybe it's a symptom of depression. When I get depressed, that's just what I do.

Well for a start humans need exposure to some natural sunlight to maintain Vitamin D levels and I would suggest that if the science is proven regarding SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) then getting out in the sun is very good for mental well-being. I know I am a sun-worshipper and like to get a deep tan and I hate and loathe the english winter months - too grey and gloomy and cold for me. I suppose even if you stayed indoors you could still talk with people on the 'phone or text them.... but we all need, and benefit from some face-to-face contact don't we
