I've heard about it a few years back, and that theory proved true in my case, so I just wanted to know if it's true with you guys, and most importantly, how true is to when it comes to guys you meet..

I saw this on the news a couple years ago but it said it was the other way around with a shorter index meaning you could be gay. I have a short index and am gay, but my brothers and my step father have the longer index and they're all straight.

I kinda think that this physical manifestation of one's sexual orientation is simply a fantasy; or any form of manifestation for that matter.

I was under the impression that the digit ratio theory (index vs ring finger length) had more to do with levels of testosterone and one's gender as opposed to one's sexuality. Where it is believed that men's digit ratio would look more like the left diagram, whilst women's would look more like the right.

But then, I'm no scientist

I hate "factoids" like this, that attempt to pigeonhole people and select their category according to which box they tick.

Ahahaha I definitely dont believe things like this. It doesn't make any sense at all.

it does not hold true for me. I think people often forget that these findings only show for some correlation ( significantly less than 1) and also doesn't define causation.

This is not true with me. But maybe you should observe your toes. In 1896, a French anthropologist L. Jullien, presented the image of what kind is the foot of a prostitute.



Looks pretty familiar, but I am not either prostitute - but maybe being a lawyer is the same thing.
