I had initially wanted to watch it because he was a brilliant cryptologist, mathematician, computer scientist, and is considered one of the fathers of modern computing, and the initial trailers talked a lot about his war efforts in WWII, so that got me pretty interested.... But all this talk about him being a homosexual in the film makes me more curious to watch, alone if I have to (probably by the end of this week)
On a related note, one of my friends said the only thing he didn't like about the movie was that Alan Turing was "a fucking faggot" :/
It's sad that even now, of all the contributions you've made, and no matter how society has moved forward and benefited from you (it is said that the Allies might not have beaten Hitler without Turing), you'd still be judged as a "faggot" by everyone and not by your actions.
