The ORIGINAL Gay family, Johnny Quest had it all. Johnny's 2 dads: Dr Quest and Race Bannon led an adventurous life and managed to parent their 2 sons: Johnny and Haji while globe trotting to exotic locales where danger and reward went hand in hand. Bandit (as in Butthole Bandit, hehe) was the family's four legged object of affection/lookout/entertainer/boy magnet who stole the show wherever they went. Any self respecting alpha Gay male who hasn't had the privilege of watching every episode of this animated TV series that was seriously way ahead of it's time should make every effort to find them on Youtube or on DVD then watch each one over and over. You will enjoy the experience. If this show were to air today with all the other Gay-centric sitcoms and dramas it would be an enormous hit IMHO. This was the original 'Modern Family'

Wow remember watching RERUNS of this as a kid and yeah, you're right. The feminine side is kind of lacking. Can't remember how Hadji became part of the "family" - must have been his skills at "snake charming"!
