People's politics are too complex to represent on a simple left/right scale, so the political compass adds in an extra dimension, making it a plane of possibilities rather than a line. One one axis you have traditional left/right, and on the other you have libertarian/authoritarian.
My Score:
Economic Left/Right: -7.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.00
In an ideal world I'd like this thread to stay about people's scores, and the merrits or not of the scale, rather than a pointless argument about whether it's "right" to be at one point on the scale over another.
