A simple message in a song: keep running.

I realize in life, you may never get what you truly want; no matter how hard you crave it. Such is the funny way of life. It's a sad truth in our existence.

But that doesn't mean something better for you isn't out there, because it always is. It may not be what you hoped for from the beginning; whether it be something physical or emotional. It will come to you at the end of the day, because you are always worth it; no matter who you are, no matter what it is. When we reach that "finish line", it will all make sense... and I'll see you when I get there.

Here's a song that's helping me at the moment: it's called "Finish Line" by Brooke Hogan. I know a lot of you have a bunch of thoughts about the singer, but listen to the words carefully... trust me, it's worth listening to.

Slimjim, I'm not even going to say anything about "The Llama Song" other than I just laughed myself silly after hearing it! )

Goejavin, I'm glad you enjoyed the message behind the song -*) as well as the others who thanked it.

To be honest, I shared that song because of something that transpired between me and someone else earlier today. What happened doesn't necessarily need to be shared, but it got me thinking (while the tears filled my eyes) that while we don't always get what we want, we do always get what we need. It's all about the bigger picture at the end of the day. Things may not make sense when they initially happen, but they will add up when it all comes down to it. We just need to "keep running" and realize there is always a greater and better goal for us out there.

After playing that a few times and really letting the words sink in, I really started to feel better about things and I was hoping to pass that along to anyone else who was feeling that way about anything they may feel they are missing at the moment; I'm glad to see the message was received loud and clear.
