Of course, but that's not what killed it. It's people making billions, or millions, or even just thousands from other people's work that brought down the wrath of the law.

When sharing becomes a business it literally becomes organised crime, and who honestly expects that to be let continue?

I don't think that we killed file sharing, but we just shared their greed. The sharing companies invented ways to make more profit. Since 2008 I use Rapid Share. In the beginning you got bonus points for downloads. The effect was that your membership could be free. But never money. Suddenly they changed things and stopped with the bonus points. I didn't understand why. Now I know that their management was just a bit more clever than others.
Greed is like a virus, it can effect everybody.
