I can imagine what eternity means.
To do so I first have to define a postulate: I exist.
I know that postulates are dangerous matter, even Einstein could be wrong with his postulate that the speed of light is the maximum possible speed of things, but let me be so cocky to suppose that I exist.
When I exist, my thoughts become reality. They can be my own reality, but that doesn’t matter and it is possible that I have no body, but it is only my brain lying in a bowl, thinking that I have a body, but that doesn’t matter too. It means that I can think.
So: I exist, so I think!
Funny, just the opposite of Descartes who said I think, so I exist.
What is thinking?
Thinking is a chemical process. Atoms and molecules are moving from one place to another. Thinking has to do with movement. And movement introduces time. In the combination place is speed multiplied by time. So time is place divided by speed.
When I die everything stops in my body, the speed goes to zero, so my time becomes endless. My dead will be endless, eternal!
What a beautiful prospect.
