I work with this really cute guy, and he knows that I'm gay, he goes out of his way to talk to me sometimes, and when he does, he looks me straight in the eyes. I just want to melt, but I keep my cool and have great conversations with him.

Am I imagining it? I know he has a girlfriend of at least 10 years, and a daughter that goes to school with my niece (what we talk about sometimes) who is 9 years old.

I totally want to play around with him, even though we shouldn't. Should I just ask him to come to my house?

Horny and Hopeless.

Be careful, when you have an attraction like this, you can lose rationality and see signs that we interpret as much as we do.
The fact that he looks you straight in the eye when you talk to him, can be a sign of respect and attention towards your person.
If this does not convince you, you can talk freely about your feelings, not push too far, just to see if it embarrasses him or remains annoyed.

I think Bigsal is totally right and there will be no other connsulting. But you know too that it could be dangerous and the tender friendship may break.

When you live in a small town there is something called a 'grapevine' and gossip travels at light speed.

All of us have a tendency towards wishful thinking. It can cloud our judgment and lead us into awkward situations that cause embarrassment or worse.

At every job I've ever had there has been at least one gorgeous guy that I day dreamed of. So much so that I felt like they could tell what I was thinking. When they smiled at me or made eye contact for more than a second or two my pulse would rise. It was just my whore-moans (hormones) acting up but it seemed so real.

There was one experience that taught me a life lesson. There were two of us working the 11pm - 7am shift. A guy named Paul and myself had been working together for a few months. Just the two of us working the lonely graveyard shift. No one around but us, hehe. We got to know each other a little. I imagined he knew how much I liked him. He was so friendly. One night as we walked by each other I reached over and cupped his crotch in my right hand. Both of us stopped in our tracks. He looked at me and pushed my hand away. The look in his eyes was enough to tell me I had crossed the line. He didn't have to say anything. I was lucky he didn't slug me, hehe. I felt so embarrassed but there was no need to apologize or act like it was a big deal. We just kept on walking and working. The next night we worked together as usual. Things were never the same. I felt terrible about ruining a good association with a co-worker. We still got along well I just never felt the same. Maybe it was me feeling hurt by his rejection.

Years later on another job there was another 'guy' I felt the urge to fondle but didn't. I remembered Paul.

My advice would be not to give in to your lustful urges at work. If you want to make a move for a guy never assume he feels the same way. Just ask him out for a drink or something then explain that you like guys more than girls and that you like him a lot. When you put it that way they may feel less threatened and most of the time they would say 'not interested' or something like that - a gentle brush off instead a big scene. But sometimes they might say 'Yes' ;)

I wish you the best of luck my young friend.

I wish I could be in my twenties again but only if I had the level of life experience I have now so I don't have to go through the learning curves all over again, lol.

Young friend? Thanks for the compliment. I'm 41, he's 35, I just got out of a relationship with a 26 yr old ...A lot of people tell me I look younger than I am...

Anyways, this guy has offered to come to my house, to fix my plumbing! ROFL I should take him up on the offer, and then when we are not at work, let him know how I feel....maybe

It's definitely fun to fantasize, I don't want to ruin the fantasy with a rejection, or worse, real thing...fantasy doesn't require any work in real life, just sit back and enjoy, but if we do something, there's work involved.

Is that lazy or what? ROFL

thanks for replies, love and peace out,

I'm fortunate, I have two cute guys that work with me all night long! The other one is definitely 100% straight, he won't even talk to me that much, it's pretty well known around my work that I'm gay, and if someone asks (I don't care who...even haters) I tell them outright. But I'm not gay acting at all...just slightly gay acting sometimes.
