I fully agree with that. I like cooking. The golden rule is, when things smell good, they taste good. Spices are important. In The Netherlands you can get top-class spices at the Turkish shops (and cheap!, important for a Dutchman). Favorite meat: grilled -liver wrapped in bacon-; favorite vegetables: salsify drenched in cheese sauce; potatoes with peel (good cleaned), sliced, marinated in hot vegetable fond and than baked in olive oil.
make mine a big long red cheese dog picked up on the street. they are always super hot and yummmmmy! slides down the throat nice and smooth and easy. Not filling either and i am ready to slide another down right away. i like all street food when i think about it.

I am a very picky eater... ask Alex he learned to cooked very healthy because first I never have dessert NEVER, where you guys try to keep place for dessert I don't. I eat very healthy pretty much all the time, meal ought to be balanced. If steak I need veggies, if Veggies I need steak LOL if there's no meat i need peanuts. I need a mix of all nutrient in one meal. I don't drink milk, I barely drink juice, I hate pop except for ginger ale. Chips give me heartburn, I almost feel sick when I smell cinnamon buns, although I love sugar I'm a hard sugar bee, this means you'll never get me to eat cakes or pies (did not even tried my Alex shaped cake for the wedding) but you'll see me with a sucker in my mouth pretty much all the time. I love spicy food as long it is well done. I hate everything greasy so when I pass by a PFK I almost throw up...can't stand their chicken and can't stand fat in all its glory. I only eat burgers that I cook (or Alex). I'm not difficult with international food as long it it not greasy and fat... grease makes me feel so bad it's horrible. Always drink a lot of water, can't have a meal with pops need water to properly wash it down. I don't like bread... yeah I'm one picky eater.
But my favorite is definitely filet mignon without that bacon strip
Almost everything, and I love to try new ethnic food when I go to a different country or just a different area of mine (USA). Many times I've brought some flavors (canned, bottled, dried etc) home with me from trips just to remind me of what I ate while I was away.
I like almost all flavors & tastes. The only things I don't care much for are a few things that I don't like the textures of - cooked rhubarb, cooked greens, okra (ugh!), but I like all of that stuff raw.
