One of my hobbies is making jewelries/beadworks. I have done those mostly for women but I'm trying my skills now by doing them for men. So, I would love to get some help from you guys: if you wear bracelets, necklaces, earrings, etc, what kind of jewelries you like?

Bought my BF and myself Diesel necklaces, 90% matching. Unfortunately, some drunk guy grabbed and ripped it off of him in WEHO last night so we will have to see if it can be fixed.

I only wear two pieces of jewellery, one ring, and one neck thingy. I used to always wear a nice analogue watch too, but I gave up on that a few years ago when I realised I break them far too often and far too quickly, and I don't actually NEED one since my iPhone is always within arms reach!

Both the ring and the necklace thingy are silver, and both have celtic designs. My partner's sister bought us each one of those rings, so we both wear them, and my partner gave me the neck thiny, and thoughtful enough to take the flimsy silver chain off it for me and replace it with a black lace. He knows me well enough to know that I'd never wear anything that had a thin 'girly' chain :)

Wow! Thats pretty. Ive got a similar taste in jewelry myself. I am totlly loving the idea of replacing the chain with the black lace, it adds some form of character to the celtic design

Yes, very beautiful, I like those very much. That lace, is it more flexible than leather?

'girly' chain
Heh, guess what kind of chain my bf has :p:rofl:
And here's my "girly necklaces" :p

I doubt it - there's no give in it at all, but I think it's waxed or something, so the sliding knots move very easily on it for taking it on and off - it's certainly different to shoe laces that's for sure!

I usually don't wear too many accessories, but there are two I always find myself putting on when I leave the house. I actually feel weird if I don't have them on.

The first would be my silver Yin/Yang symbol ring... it was cheap, but cute. :) My mom actually gave this to me.

The second would be my Gay Pride bracelet. I picked it up at the NYC Pride Parade a couple of years back. On one side, it reads: "Thou shall NOT judge" and on the other, "Earth Cry".

And here's me actually wearing it. :))

Looking good :D
I like that ring (I love rings, I wear several all the time + engagement ring), and I think it doesn't matter if it is cheap or not :)

And that bracelet looks good too, the text on it, I think it is even better. It is something that makes you think.

My preference is for nothing. I absolutely can't stand rings and bracelets - anything on my hands feels like an obstacle. I do a lot of writing, so my fingers really need to fly across the keyboard.

Necklaces I just don't wear. Most of the time I am in a dress shirt and tie - so there is no need for any neck jewelry.

I do have some very nice sets of cufflinks - a few are very old, passed on to me from my father and grandfather.

Although I own some gold and silver bracelets, my favorite bracelet is made of elephants hair. I wear it all the time. Legend has it that every time you move the knots over the strands it enhances your well being. Each strand is supposed to represent some facet of your life such as fortune, health, love, etc.

I'm not much of a jewelry wearer. I have a plain gold 'wedding' band that symboliozes my union with my partner, and my USMC dogtags around my neck, since they have a two-fold purpose: reminding me of my great experience in the Corps and of the buddies who were lost in action.
