what sense could you loose?

as far as i know we have 5 sences....

sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste

of thoes..what would you give up first?

i happen to think...smell and taste are connected...and there is a 6th sense more important but for this thread i was wondering what sense you would give up first?

I would go without smell. When I still smoked I didn't smell pretty much anything but since I quit I can smell toxins, sweat, stinging parfyms, old people etc. Its like hell! "aww I can smell a tomato! how wonderful!". That's the only broplem for me in quitting smoking

I agree with Otage... I've got a cold practically all year, so I can smell few things, but those ones I feel quite strongly... And I can count the good smells on a hand, so yes, I'd go without smell...

None too - but I've lost part of my sound, part of my sight, and I smoke, so probably lost a lot my smelling too

... I thought this would be easy, but I've been thinking about it for a few minutes, and it's getting more difficult, not more clear. I would have gone with scent, but then I thought of (if you'll pardon the cliche of it) how big a part of attraction that the scent of a person can be. Damn you all, now I'm going to be thinking about this all day XD

Another problem with loose smell: you don't know if your clothes are dirty and you smell like an old homeless man.

Yeah.. another good point !! So definitely NOT smell ..

So not smell or taste, and not sight, and not hearing, but that only leaves touch .. don't wanna loose that either ~X(~X(

If it comes to an inevitable choice I'd sacrifice taste. It can be partially substituted by smell.
