I wear what Alex wants me to wear...:)) I don't care about the brand at all... if it looks good on me I wear it and even though I'm full of cash I will not lower myself to go get a pair of shoes for $300 when a similar pair with no designer name looks just fine.

Alex shop for the style that suit me, not the brand:)

Brand? I'm neither rich enough nor shallow enough to choose my cloths based on brand, or to judge others based on the brands they waste their money on.

My style is "authentic".

When I'm in a casual mood it'll be non-branded tracksuit bottoms or cargo pants with a polo shirt, probably with a nerdy logo of some sort on it. If it's cold, replace the polo shirt with a hoody, again, with something geeky/nerdy on it. In mid summer replace the polo shirt with nerdy T-shirt and the tracksuit bottoms/cargo pants with cargo pants shorts.

When I want to be a little less casual then green or tan chinos with a short-sleaved shirt (I HATE long sleaves).

If you really force me I do have slacks and dress shirts, but I avoid them when ever possible, and if I have to wear them they'll probably be a deep vibrant blue or a pastel green with a nerdy tie.

I went through a phase when I would buy style. End of season stuff was what I could afford. But it would mostly hang in the closet; seldom on me. It taught me what I actually wore.
Traditional, well made, fairly slim fit, understated. Things that would make me look good rather than things that would upstage me.
Cold/ cold weather: dress cut cord pants for the office. Hiking boots or high tops. Two layers on top in different colors. I will do bright colors in cheap Target teeshirts. Wear them 20 times and toss them.
I do have quite a few waist jackets, or a little longer. Wait high because I drive every day. Various weights because we have that kind of climate.
I always avoided hoodies. Too thuggie/ hipster cool for me. Then I tried one. I'm a hoodie boy now. My winter hoodie is a Perry Ellis fake leather in distressed fake grey leather. I look hoodie fabulous in it, thank you.

I am rather creative and impulsive. I hate new clothes. They form a big limitation of my freedom of movement. As if you wear a straitjacket.
Apart from socks and underwear I nearly never buy clothes. The used clothes from my sons are fine for me.
When social situations ask for special behavior, I make no problems. So once I appeared in jacket, with hat and gloves, as if I was a member of the British Parliament. But such carnival clothes are easy to hire.

I don't care aout brands either. I'm not very rich so I could not allow myself for really expensive clothes. During winter I wear casual clothes. But when spring comes my wardrobe becomes much more colorful, original and interesting. I like to wear clothes what are colorful and look brave :) But not too gay :D

track pants

I love wearing track pants with trainers or flip flops :p Track pants go very well with almost any T-shirt...they are comfortable...they come in various colours...they can be worn to the grocery store or to post office...easy to pull down when going to pee

I wear fitting jeans or corduroy trousers (various colors). Various fitting t-shirts in bold colours (most favorite wine red, black, purple), sometimes shirt with short sleeves. In winter pretty shiny black padded jacket :D. Spring/autumn black leather jacket (fitting of course :D ) Footwear: Converse, sometimes Adidas High tops (pretty shiny :D ). Accesories: Aviator sunglasses, wayfarer sunglasses, waist belt with steel pyramides. Sometimes scarf around my neck.

I guess you are thinking something like "what a faggot" and yes - you're right :D  We live only once! :D :p

When I'm going to the neighborhood gym or running errands, I like wearing matching sweatpants and hoodies. When I'm out on the town, I've been told that I dressed too conservative which consist of cardigans, khakis, white shirts or stripes, leather jackets, etc. or nice jeans with nice shoes. But..that is who I am and most comfortable with being...

Anything.....as long as its comfortable and looks decent & presentable (also depends on the occasion....whether formal or informal).

Not much of a brand freak here, I'm afraid! :)

I can't express how much this stereotype pisses me off.

There are many fashionista gays, but NOT ALL GAYS ARE FASHIONISTAS, and NOT ALL FASHIONISTAS ARE GAY - in fact - THERE IS NO CONNECTION BETWEEN SEXUALITY AND FASHION OBSESSIVENESS.

It's bad enough that straight people stereotype and pigoen hole all gays as being the same, but it's nothing short of tragic when gays to do it to each other!
