Disclaimer: I currently have a request for 2 videos on the request thread, but no one has helped me yet. Which brings me to my question.... where do these posted videos come from? I mean, I know the pay sites, but I can't afford to subscribe to all of them. I do pay for Filesmonster and download posted videos all the time, from many different free sources, but how do they originate? Someone must rip them from a pay site, right?
If I can't find a recent video that I am looking for, do I just sit back and hope that it will be posted one day? Or by requesting it (here or somewhere else) will someone see my request and do whatever it is they do to download the video and repost it for me? I know once a video is available it suddenly is available everywhere, but how does that process start?
I'm not sure I've stated my questions right, but it's something I've always wondered. Like the two I requested last week, eventually will they be available regardless of what I do (they are from relatively obscure websites I guess), will they be lost and forgotten and never posted, or will someone see my request and do it for me? And understand, I'm not here begging for the videos, I'm just trying to understand the process I've been a part of for many years now.
I hope I'm clear, and thanks if you can explain.
