Yes, but both of those shows are geared towards 18-30 yo audiences and the story lines have been altered to appeal to them. In the comics he's about the same age as Batman...

***In the movies Batman is also portrayed as being much younger, while in the comics he's usually anywhere between late 30's and early 50's, depending on which story arc. This is why the rest of the Justice League refer to him as the "old man". In Batman Beyond he's in his 80's...

Of course no Superhero is more built for the perverse than Wonder Woman. The entire reason for her coming into being was to symbolize leather, dominatrix Lesbianism. For reasons I can't place A list DC characters seem far more potent sexual identities than Marvel's. Getting to the core of how they were written, Marvel characters were always designed with baggage. There's nothing sexy about baggage. Which is why Peter Parker marrying Mary Jane made no sense. It's impossible to reconcile a bumbling nerd out of bed turning into the sort of sexual animal befitting a super model once he's naked between the sheets. Lame. Lazy. Writing. Not to mention not 'kid friendly.'

Modern DC apes Marvel so most readers now would barely know DC characters as they were in the glory days of publishing.
