For me it's Captain America. His real strength is his character. His fight for justice and he's pretty hot too!

For me it's Batman because he has no super powers, it's all down to being a hero.

I have a hard time deciding! So many to choose from! ~X(
From Justice League (the TV series) I really like Flash. Not because of his abilities, but because of his fun personality.
But two I've always liked, both from X-men, are Storm and Gambit!

He was way before my time, but I was a big fan of Space Ghost when I was a kid.

My super hero is my first grand child. The boy is now about five month old, so he still has not the powers we are used to, as saying proper words, or move the way we can, but with his eyes, his funny sounds and his beautiful laughs he brings my internal nuclear power plant nearly to a meltdown. Heroism is in all living creatures.

I would say Lara Croft is as unrealistic and superheroey as say Batman.
When I was growing up there was a lot of hype and hysteria around Tomb Raider and it genuinely inspired me to do a great many things I would never have done otherwise. That includes a great deal of travelling and adventuring. The character was quite empowering for a generation of boys and girls in the 90s.

i think the real job of all these larger than life superheroes is to inspire you and empower you to live your dreams.

The Incredible Hulk. Another one of my favourite character. I felt an affinity with Bruce Banner, a smart guy who is good and calm. I had been through quite a lot of unfairness in my childhood and my anger was repressed for a long time. I like how the hulk liberates Bruce in to a tank of a man, full of rage and power the exact opposite of who he was. He becomes an uncontrollable powerhouse full of testosterone and rage. For me that was very liberating too. It might be why i stopped studying my second degree and started working out instead. Again, another character that inspired my life in a big way.

6 of my favorite superheroes :3

Watching a show about teenagers in rainbow tights dancing around "fighting" evil with michael bay explosions, and my family was surprised when I came out, it was so obvious!
